So, how are those resolutions going? Good news, Japanese New Year is celebrated all month; and, Chinese New Year isn’t until February.  What will the Year of the Rabbit have in store for you?
If you’re a Marie Kondo fan, you know that tidying up has a “Superbowl” in January as part of Japanese New Year Festivities.  Families do a deep clean together, getting rid of those Shinto “dust demons” to prepare to receive the blessings of the New Year. There is a mental component to this as well and many of us already understand the value of decluttering our space. But what about your “head space?”  Your body?
Why not go all-in and join us to declutter the mind and body as well on Saturday,  Feb 4th, 2-4:30 pm at Peace United. Oh, and it’s OK, you can still show up even if your house is a total mess!
Shaila Cunningham will then help you release all those karmic knot samskaras from 2022 in a Yin/Restorative practice (bolsters!).  We’ll cap off the night with some traditional Japanese New Year snacks! You’ll float home, ready for a great night’s sleep. Yes, you can wear your jammies!
Career Coach Bethany Jacob will then take you through “Resolution Reset” and a mental declutter, to make sure your resolutions align with your true values. and help you stay “on brand” for 2023–there’s still a lot of 2023 left, so don’t worry if you got off to a slow start!
