As a former Global Account Manager, I’m not afraid of performance-based pay! Over Covid and this extended inflationary cycle, I have raised my prices less than 5%, and in some venues, not at all. Why? Because I don’t want to price people out of wellness and community. Therefore, I am inviting students to consider tipping, an unconventional approach in the yoga world, but not the services sector. Why not set up as a non-profit? After all, there are need-based “scholarship” participants. Because “non-profit” is just a tax status and is paperwork intensive. With CEO’s of healthcare non-profits making millions, their salaries financed, in part, by lemonade stands and rummage sales–no thanks!
Any tips are whole-heartedly appreciated and will help me as an entrepreneur facing drastically increasing costs. $2 or any multiple thereof is possible based on the “number of items” you put in the cart; or, VENMO YogaHotDish to avoid banking charges. Namaste!
